Connecting People, Culture & Place

Ava is an Adelaide-based architect and community advocate whose work explores the intersection of people, culture and place. Having lived and worked internationally and locally she is drawn to the ways design can connect communities, foster cultural exchange and create meaningful experiences. Alongside her architectural practice, Ava serves on the Emerging Architects and Graduates Network SA (EMAGN SA) Committee, supporting emerging voices within the design industry and Creative Director of After Hours.

By day, Ava works as an architect delivering projects across education, health and civic sectors. After hours, her creative interests extend into storytelling, curation and community building. As both an architect and mother, she is passionate about creating opportunities for connection and creative exchange, championing the work that happens beyond professional titles and within the spaces between career, community and personal passion.
